Southern Africa is host to some of the world’s most unique places, i.e., the Skeleton Coast and Namib Desert of Namibia, the Okavango Delta and Makgadikgadi Pans of Botswana, Liuwa Plains and South Luangwa in Zambia, and Victoria Falls and Hwange Park in Zimbabwe. The gateway to southern Africa, South Africa, should also not be overlooked for accessible wildlife, rich history, food, wine and culture. We will also peer into Malawi as time permits.
Key features and attractions will be highlighted along with best ways to combine travel between countries. We will look at a variety of camp styles to suit a range of budgets and personal preferences. Recommended safari routes will be discussed along with opportunities for self-exploration and small group travel. As always, we will talk about how conservation and community development relate to the safari industry.
