Cuba

For Americans, Cuba occupies a mysterious and complex place in the lexicon of our cultural and political history. Presenting colorful images and lively video clips, Wildland Director, Kurt Kutay, will share highlights of his people-to-people experiences on small group itineraries and private custom trips organized by Wildland Adventures. Discover a taste of what we learn from our vast community of Cubans representing all walks of life who share their talents, personal lives, and viewpoints in close and meaningful ways including musicians, dancers, budding chefs, market vendors, artists, fishermen, farmers, educators, health care providers and lectures on the history of Cuban music and US-Cuban relations by local professors. Cuba is at a moment in history when more of the countryside is opening to tourism for visits to farms, national parks, and pristine Caribbean islands ideal for more active adventures hiking, kayaking, and biking.
